OK there are lot of race rumors so here is what is up with the series. THERE NO RACES AT ALL AT WILLAMETTE PASS OR COUGAR MT...I have no idea = where those dates came from...I use to handle Cougar Mt and trust me = that place is out for good. THESE GUN SIGHT OR WHAT EVER RACES in La Granda have NOTHING to do with = the SoBe series, so point over there do not count towards the series. THERE is NO DOWNHILL THIS WEEKEND at the Humbug Hurry YES THERE IS STILL A CROSS COUNTRY. Yes the COTTAGE GROVE RACES ARE A GO...There was some doubt but it is = all a go now...DH Sat and a special race your Mt. Bike at the BMX track = after the DH race...there are going to add a Mt. Bike class in with all = the other classes just for that day. XC Sunday Yes there will be a Shotgun Creek 2 DH and XC...the courses may change = due to logging, but the BLM is working hard with me to make sure we = still have go courses with little road. The Jones Creek Downhills are still going on Aug 19 and Sept 16...they = did have to change the course a little do to logging, but they are still = a go. Looking to next year I think the Cross Country series will trim down to = around 15 races, with 7-8 counting towards the overall. If you have any questions please let me know.
