Mikkel Bossen and Dean Tracy got together with Michael Judson to form a team for Olympic Sprints. They called themselves Team Northwest. Michael took the first lap, Dean the second and Mikkel the last.

They did a very respectable 4th place behind teams composed of National and World Champs. Marty Cahill's Wheelsport team took 5th place. This a a great showing for our NW juniors.

Mikkel took 6th place in the 75 lap Points race, only one point off of 5th. He spent half of the race in breakaways--- off the front in true Mikkel style. He took first place points the first lap. He continued to take 3rd and 4th place points several times.

Mikkel said that he was working with 3rd place winner Joshua Kerkhof. They would get off Mikkel worked hard to keep them off.

Mikkel said "This was one of the best races of my life." He really enjoyed racing with the other juniors who are National and World champs.

Mikkel spent most of Sunday sleeping and Monday will be flying to South Carolina for Road Nationals.
