And Americans wonder why they are misunderstood by the rest of the world. "For my money, being the greatest athlete in the world involves strength, speed, agility, hand-eye coordination, mental toughness and the ability to make your body do things that defy description." If someone thinks that climbing up a Pyrenean mountain side faster than everybody else does not defy description then what can one ( e.g. a European) say about this person other than "ignorant American"? What does? Hitting a ball with a bat? Mr. Borges is disrespectful and arrogant. If it only took "pumping your legs up and down while your feet are strapped to bicycle pedals" then I would be the greatest. Anyway, Mr. Borges can have his own opinion. It makes me laugh.
