Trying to help a new-to-cycling friend find a good starter bike for just getting around town and some light trail riding (Tabor, Leif, you know). Thinks she wants to get into mountain biking, and wants to try cross next year but....

Looking at a budget around $700. Anybody got anything in decent condition, give me a shout. But shout nicely. :-)
