Subject: The Irony and The Bag Of Sand....

The Karate kid was on AMC last night at like 1am. I finally got to watch it again, after seeing "cobrakai" in emails all day.

as for sandbagging?

EVERYONE WHO BEATS ME MUST BE SANDBAGGING!

I don't know Jay personally, or how long ago he raced, so I can't comment on that. I can say that he doesn't look like your average cat 5, he definitely has the euro-pro-sauce look going for him. And his legs are huge. But that doesn't mean he's necessarily sandbagging.

When I saw him in the 4/5 race I thought either he was a 2 or a 3 just warming up and upping the pace for the group, or a Tri-Athlete wanting road time. When he contested the sprint I was kinda shocked. He pretty much pulled the entire field around the course. Someone last week told me they thought he got upgraded.

Personally, I'd rather take a spanking from people who are stronger, and faster than my weak self. It forces me to pay more attention, to race smarter, and actually think about what I'm doing (If I actually think though, is a whole other matter).
