Hi All
I really do not mean to sound rude but...
This is called the Mt Hood Wilderness Act and it is not new news, it has been going on for years! There have been lots of meetings and open houses.
This is why people should join groups like IMBA!
This is also a clear case of watch whom you work with...the mt bike community trusted certain eco groups and in the end got screwed!
I hope you will sign the petition and I hope it is not too late.
Take Care
Randy Dreiling

Subject: [OBRA Chat] Petition at USGP
Hey Folks,
FYI: Many of the trails in the Mt Hood national forest are being
closed or may be closed for cycling. It appears that much of this is being
done with little or no community involvement. Petr Kakes from SkiBowl
put us in contact with a gentlemen from Portland named Skip Sponsel. He
has been lobbying for trail access in the area as well as new trail
project approval at Mt Hood SkiBowl ski resort.
Skip has agreed to come to USGP on Saturday to collect signatures.
(There will also be volunteers on hand with sheets)
Please take time out and sign the petition to keep trails open to
cycling!
Thanks!
k-
