Tip: most email services let you create + aliases for your email address. For example, you could use dougsears+obra@gmail.com, and emails sent to that address would actually go to your regular dougsears@gmail.com account. This is useful for filtering incoming email and also gives you a simple audit trail to see who is selling or distributing your address.
