Hello All

Just wanted to update you on the series and hopefully answer some questions being asked.

It has been a great series so far. I hope you have enjoyed it.

First I want to once again thank our sponsors...if you would like to write thank you letters I will be glad to pass them on...I really think we should send letters to SoBe to encourage them to stay in the series, as they have been great to have in the series...it wouldn't be the same with out SoBe at each race and there $$$ pays for the overall trophies, flyers, banners, ect..

Speaking of overall points...I do not personally handle the points, but they are being tracked by Jon Myers and he deserves a major thanks.

The top three people in each class with get a trophy and the winner in each class will get a champions jersey from Chiba Sports.

YOU MUST race 8 cross country or 4 downhill races if you are a Pro/Exp. or Sport rider....if you are a beginner you MUST have raced 6 Cross Country or 4 Downhill races....in order to place in the overall points race.

CHANGES...THE GRANTS PASS DOWNHILL HAS BEEN CANCELED!! PLEASE PASS THE WORD ON.

Some changes we MIGHT have for next year's fee's
The fees would be as follows
JR $15 (XC only)
Beginner $20 to hopefully bring in more people
Sports and Pro/Exp. $25

Late fee's will still be up to each race $5-10....please remember that some races such as those at Mt. Hood have lots of overhead cost others don't have.

Shotgun Creek and other races held on BLM land must pay a set permit fee PLUS a $5 rider fee.

We are really hopefully that we can get even more people out in 2002

Thanks Again
