It seems that there are a lot of dog haters among bike riders..... I have been chased by my share of dogs while riding, but my greatest joy (not since I moved to Portland from Bend however) is taking my two WELL BEHAVED dogs on a long mountain bike ride, off leash. Only a few of these emails have addressed irresponsible dog owners and the others come off like the dog is the sole problem and all parks should be rid of them. Don't blame the dogs. Thats like blaming a toddler who is not well behaved, blame the parents.
