Hey folks, The City of Portland and the Portland Police Bureau have asked for my help in developing a web-based, bike theft prevention resource. I'm meeting with them again next week to present ideas for what type of content that website should include. I'd like this new web page to offer real, solid advice from the community. If you have any recommendations, web links, or other insights on how to prevent bike theft, please consider adding it to the comments on this post: http://bikeportland.org/2006/03/28/bike-theft-out-of-hand-police-want-to-help/ (Or, if you'd rather send me an email off-list that would work too.)
