As of today Monday, January 30 there are 18 cat 5 registered, leaving space for 32 more. Men cat 4 there are 19 registered leaving space for 79. There are less than 10 in each of the other categories pre-registered.

Remember if you sign up on line, you will still need to complete an OBRA Waiver the day of the race, you can save a couple minutes by having that completed when you arrive at the cafe. http://www.obra.org/pdfs/waiver.pdf If you mail a check, please include a completed and signed waiver. Make it clear what category you will be racing. For example, if you are racing the master 40+ cat 5 race, don't put cat 5 as your category on the waiver. Put the race you will be entering in that space. Make checks payable to: 2 Dog Racing.

Also, Augusto Carneiro will be donating a pound of fresh roasted coffee to each first place winner except the junior categories. See his website at www.familyroast.com

It is hard to believe but the road race season starts in just 3 weeks.
Registration at the early season races is hectic so I strongly encourage you
to get your obra membership ahead of time. You can drop a form in the mail
or go to https://www.signmeup.com/site/reg/register.aspx?fid=NJ2VLK7.
One last precaution - Last year the Cherry Pie race met its fields limits on
many fields (Cat 4/5, Cat 3 etc.) We had to turn riders away. If you want
to guarantee a spot they you need to preregister. For you new riders - you
need to send a standard release (http://obra.org/pdfs/waiver.pdf) to the
race organizer along with your entry fee by the pre-registration deadline.

The 2nd race of the season - The Jack Frost Time trial especially needs
pre-registration. If you pre-register for a time trial then you do not need
to show up before your posted start time. If you do not pre-register then
you must show up before the cut off time and then MAY have to wait a hour or
more for your start time.
