It is hard to believe but the road race season starts in just 3 weeks. Registration at the early season races is hectic so I strongly encourage you to get your obra membership ahead of time. You can drop a form in the mail or go to https://www.signmeup.com/site/reg/register.aspx?fid=NJ2VLK7. One last precaution - Last year the Cherry Pie race met its fields limits on many fields (Cat 4/5, Cat 3 etc.) We had to turn riders away. If you want to guarantee a spot they you need to preregister. For you new riders - you need to send a standard release (http://obra.org/pdfs/waiver.pdf) to the race organizer along with your entry fee by the pre-registration deadline. The 2nd race of the season - The Jack Frost Time trial especially needs pre-registration. If you pre-register for a time trial then you do not need to show up before your posted start time. If you do not pre-register then you must show up before the cut off time and then MAY have to wait a hour or more for your start time. Candi Murray |
