Subject: final PIR Handicap tonight!
Date: 09/27/2005 06:01 AM
From: scmu-@aol.com

Come on out to PIR tonight for the final road race of the year! The
weather has been extraordianary this year, and promises to continue
that way tonight.

The women's race will start at 5:50 pm. Fred Meyer's Shannan Whitlach
leads the series, with 30 points, but at least four women are within
striking distance. The men's 4/5 race, at 6:00 pm, is even closer,
with six riders within 15 points of series leader, Dan Antonson.

Mavic-Fondriest rider Brad Gebhard appears to have the 6:30 pm cat 1-4
race locked up, with 42 points for the series, and a commanding 14
point lead over Bike n Hike's Brant Buchholz. But with four hot spots
and 20 points on the line for the hot spot winners, even before the
final sprint, this race could get interesting too!

Once again, volunteers will be coaching the cat 4/5 riders. A Fort
single speed frame will be given to each of the series winners
immediately after each race. Second place for each series is a $65
gift certificate at BicyclingHub.com. All series prizes will be
awarded immediately after each race.

See everyone at PIR tonight. We will be riding counter clockwise, so
numbers on the left.

Steven Mullen.
Race Promoter.
