Shimano and Campy are close enough to interchange well. You can use a Shimano 9 speed cassette with your Campy stuff no problem. If you want to spend lots of money for a cassette, you can get re-worked Shimano cassettes from Wheels Manufacturing- with exact Campy spacing but if ask me (and you did) It's a lot of expense for little benefit. I have purchased a cyclocross frame and I want to use disk brakes with the bike. I'm going to be using Campagnolo Centaur on this frame instead of Shimano. The problem that I'm running into is with the wheels. I'd like to find a Campagnolo bodied hub that will accommodate a disk brake and or find a Campagnolo compatible freewheel that will fit Shimano wheel. Does anyone have such a thing or know of a wheel set that will work with Campagnolo and a disk brake.
