Exactly! Disk wheel on the back, 53x14 fixed gear, dummy break lever
and caliper for the back (don't tell Candi that it doesn't work),
caliper brake on the front, and you're good to go!

I would be careful with the Renn. A teammate bought a new one this past year and on the 3rd ride the breaking separated from the rest of the wheel.
Very dangerous. Wheel was totally unrideable. The Renn folks did replace
it, but I have heard about similar issues with carbon wheels seperating from
aluminum breaking surfaces, which the Renn has. Has to do with the heat
generated while breaking, which causes the bonding material to loose its
ability to adhere to the aluminum.
 
Cruise Ebay for some older disks, you should be able to get one in the $ range you are looking for.
