I seem to still be having trouble with Topica. I have attached updated final results for the Tuesday Night Handicap Series. In cases where two riders have the same point totals, I have used number of first place, second place, third place, etc. finishes to break the tie. Could the following riders contact me to collect their BicyclingHub.com gift certificates: David Root Steve Holland Steve Rosvold Jesse Sampson Bill Fasano Also, the following riders received copies of Pegasus Software's Runlog training log: Jason Kentner, David Sherman, James Bruce, Alex Zeisberg, Bill Fasano. Please contact me if you have questions about installing or registering the program. The weather, once again, was spectacular for the final race of the series. Mild, clear skies, and very little wind. The turnout for the cat 4/5 race was excellent, with enough riders to put on a big time final sprint. Easily the fastest of the series. I believe our fastest single LAP for the first three weeks was 4:04, or 28.2 mph. Last night, the cat 1/2 group averaged 4:01 or 28.6 mph for the first FIVE laps. It was amazing how strong and smooth the paceline was. Turnout was also the best of the series. I think we had 54 riders last night. Because of the early sunset, we only had time for eight laps in the handicap race. After threatening to give the cat 3/4 group a 2 and a half minute head start, Candi caved in to pressure from the 1/2 riders, and let us go seven seconds early, at 2:23. The cat 1/2's quickly got to work, and turned in the five fastest laps of the series, at 3:59, 4:00, 4:02, and two laps at 4:03. The fastest lap for the previous three weeks was 4:04. Following are all of the lap splits. Thanks everyone for supporting the series. It was a great opportunity to work on paceline skills. Hopefully next year we'll all be "in the break" and have opportunities to work on those skills a little more! And finally, thanks especially to Candi, Jason, and all of the the Nomads who volunteered and made this last minute event come together. -Steven Mullen.
