On the other hand, you bought the farm land as farm land, and paid a price for it on that basis. All the restrictions mean is that you do not get a windfall. If you do not want to farm, sell it to someone who does. We all sacrifice for the greater good of society. I pay high taxes for schools that I do not use because I do not have children.
