I agree with Jim and Michael in general. This is a pretty cool private network for cyclists. Since it is private, I think it is a good idea to have some respect for the receivers and some consciousness for how you send things out. I don't think there has been any serious abuse of the system, and as long as people pay attention and try not to send out repeated ads (the 3 speeds), trim long stringy replys, and don't send bigass jpgs., I think we all can deal with the deletion of mail we are not interested in. I think the system has worked pretty well so far, but we do have to filter so much of the stuff on the net and email, it is kind of nice not to have to filter the OBRA stuff to find the dope belt buckle. Big props to Candy for her devotion and application of grease to the wheels of OBRA. Chow puppies. Matthew Wall |
