Michael stanley is the name of the proprietor and he's not only
knowledgeable, but a one-time Cat 3 who earned his chops. Mike's was
the first coast bike shop to really qualify as a "Pro" bike shop.

I'd second Erik's endorsement.

There's a bike shop in Cannon Beach that will probably have all the

you seek. It's one block behind the main road there, next to a kite
shop,
right on the far corner of town. I think it's called Mike's bike
shop. The
owner is very talkative and quite nice. They also have decent road
bike
stuff in there, should you need anything.

I will be in Cannon Beach for a week, Can anyone
suggest any good rides? I've heard about a loop, HWYs
101 to 53 to 26 and back to 101, has anyone done this?
about how long is it? Also, are there any local Mt.
Bike trails? I'm looking at taking a beginning biker
on a couple of trail rides. Thanks.
