What a night, 88 people made it out to face that atrocious North headwind
last night. The temps were great for racing, no rain, and plenty of sunlight
gave everyone what they were wanting and just what the doctor ordered. We
had about 35-40 people make out for pizza and beer at Track Town Pizza after
the event to talk bikes and pick up some cool swag from the sponsors.

I will get results done up ASAP and try to get them posted this afternoon or
first thing tomorrow.

I got plenty of thank you's last night from the racers which is very
appreciated by myself as well as all the volunteers. Seeing everyone have a
great time makes putting on these events and not getting to bed until
midnight well worth it. I have even heard from several local shops about all
the excitement and TT equipment that has been sold over the past couple
months in the Eugene area, a couple of them have even committed to hitting
their reps for more stuff for next year already.

Next week starts the hill climb series on McBeth, I know there is a record
out there somewhere and if anyone knows who, when and what it is please send
it to me as there is numerous people asking. For 3.6 miles and 800 feet of
elevation gain it sure to be a fast and brutal climb.

Time to Ride,
Richard Sweet
