The cat 3 race was all over that road. I believe that a few people were pulled for violations on other parts of the road. BUT, it seemed as we started onto that one section of the race route, that we used the WHOLE road, or 90% of it. I tried to stay to the left, but on lap 3 I got tired of seeing 20 or 30 guys go flying by on the left, so the next lap I joined that group and made my way closer to the front. I was dropped on lap 7, but that is not the issue. I'm sorry for breaking the rules. Maybe next year we can possibly have the one section of road closed for the race? We all as racers and officials should take account for what we do. The official who was driving the truck for our race (cat 3) I think did a good job of driving up and letting the offenders know what they were doing and letting them know they were DQ'd. One small thing for you, I would say that at one point you drove up the left side to tell someone something, but you did it on a blind left hand corner. Please make sure when you make a move like that, that it is not into a blind corner. I'm not sure if you could see or not, but I was near the front of the group and I couldn't see around the bend. I think the bottom line is that, everyone needs to be at the starting line at the beginning of the race. LISTEN, don't be talking, and see what the officials have to say. Some races have full use of the road, most don't. Some races will have water on the course for you, some wont. Sometimes just listening makes a huge difference. If you miss that portion of the beginning, ask someone if there was anything that you should know. Be accountable for yourself first and foremost. Take care of your safety, and if you see something that just isn't right, use your voice. A little constructive criticism never hurt anyone, but it may save someone from crashing or dying.
