Nicole Reinhart of the Saturn team died during a race in Boston on Sunday. Nicole participated at the AVC last year and was a joy to deal with and watch. This year she changed her focus from track to road but came to Oregon again in July to race at the Cascade Classic. I was surprised that she remember me by name and I never saw her without a smile. I will miss seeing her in the future. Take a minute and realize how precious life is and how inherently dangerous our sport can be. Candi |
