Happy Holidays all..... Well, there are no words beyond sorry for the delay... a long delay. So without further ado we present the 2003 OUCH series results. These will be posted to the website shortly when our formatting issues are complete. Our sincere thanks to everyone who helped, supported, setup, raced, tore down, sent email, had fun and of course, the officials who continue to take the time and effort to make OBRA all that it is. Our hard working staff has run into several issues this season - but that's no excuse and we are sorry for it. We are also reviewing options for the 2004 season and have two issues to address, one is finding a couple of viable venues along with open dates. It may be that for 2004 we will only be able to offer a single event depending on community support. Those that remember the Larch Mountain issues, tacks on the road, pre-event signs removed etc. will be happy to know that the main community members were upset to hear about these events because it projects on their continued attempts to attract economic and tourism support. We hope to work something out for 2004. Bald Peak was a fun venue, but many were hoping for more climbing. The community support was outstanding, but the economics of volunteer police force for certified traffic control proved costly in the literal sense. However, we are looking into our options and any thoughts or input is warmly welcomed. Our sincere apologies again for the delay that has gone on far too long. Come on out to the final Cross Crusade Event or the National Cross Champsionships and we'll have your ribbon waiting.
