The OUCH standings after 2 events is now posted on the OUCH webpage and for event 3, all you have to do is have raced in either of the first two OUCH events and are doing the district hillclimb. www.consystency.net/obra/ouch/ouch_standings.html Due to the logistics of the hillclimb being a state championship, we will be taking the posted results of the hillclimb far away to a quiet place and figuring out how all this will come together. We are including the results from districts as a way to bring a better 'series' feel to OUCH and we would like to thank John Lombard and his group for allowing us to include their results in the OUCH series. Basically if you raced in either OUCH event, we will take your district hillclimb finish/placing with respect to your OUCH category and compare it to your fellow OUCH racers for placing in the third event. It is likely ribbons will be awarded at ECCC or the CCX races where you too can race in the National championships!!! Great job Brian Witty and Co. for making that happen too!!! This may or may not all come together as planned, but remember, the whole purpose of OUCH was too have fun for both climbers and non-climbers. Based on all the excellent feedback, we are hoping to put this together again next year, so if you would like to see OUCH return, please let us know and as always any suggestions are more than welcome. Best wishes one season winds down, and another picks up....
