This weekend will be a great one to race. The annual Camas Race is this Sunday. Since the 1/2's are doing 3 laps and I want a fast race out of them (not to say they are slow) I am giving away, with the help of Endless Pursuit, a GPS system for your bike. $200 value. All fields medal three deep! You can register on Sunday with no problem. There will be cold water at the start and finish. You are allowed a feed zone just before the transfer site (the dump) on Mt Pleasant. The Feed Zone is open to whoever you want up there. Just remember that it will be in the 80's. I was on the course on Wednesday and the road is in great shape. Good effort climbs, fast decents, and wonderful views of Mt. Hood and Portland from the top. In regards to the women race, if more than 5 women enter, I can split the field 1/2/3 and then 4 for points. Something to think about to get more women out there. I hope to see a lot of you on Sunday.
