Just as an aside. They recently did this to one of my favorite road in Clackamas county and I was very unhappy about it. I then went on a ride that traversed this road again a couple of weeks later and they had finished it off by rolling it out and sealing it, which made the road rideable again and almost pleasant. I think the graveling may be the first step in redoing the road without actually repaving it. There is hope even if they mess it up temporarily. -----Original Message----- From: Troy Tucker [mailto:Bike-@aol.com] Sent: Thursday, July 31, 2003 2:50 PM To: Edwardw-@aol.com; ob-@topica.com Subject: Re: [OBRA Chat] road conditions Also the West side of Germantown road has been oil and graveled, could be a rough ride going down the hill.
