Good Afternoon Obra and the Pacific Northwest ~ First off I want to thank all of you who stepped up and took the Rubicon Team Challenge last year - on behalf of Team Rubicon and the Lance Armstrong Foundation, we thank you. Once again I would like to challenge you to take the Rubicon Team Challenge. If your new and don't know what the Rubicon Team Challenge is, it goes like this. Team Rubicon was built on two principles, raise funds for the LAF and the fight against cancer and help develop women & young riders. To date we have raised $10,500 for the LAF with a goal of $20,000 by August 15, 2003. Our junior / Espoir riders leave for Junior / Espoir nationals next week and we would like to issue the following challenge - for ever medal that Team Rubicon earns in a National event I would ask that you donate $5.00 to the LAF in care of Team Rubicon. If you would like more information on the team please go to www.trubicon.org. We have a direct link to the LAF, so donating is as easy as clicking a button.
